Okay, boys and girls, time for some one-on-one hygiene discussion! No matter how good, handsome or sharp you look, if you have a bad body odor, it's a huge turn-off. And that goes for both men and women.
Thankfully, now we have access to so many fragrances and a variety of applicators, it’s easier than ever to achieve and maintain immaculate hygiene standards.

Deodorant - A Must Use
When you apply a deodorant on a clean surface, i.e., the armpits, it helps in eliminating the foul odor that they may produce. Although most of the products out there do not completely eliminate these odors, they do, at least, help with not letting them escape. But how? Well, the ingredients present in a deodorant ensure that it creates an inhabitable environment for the bacteria that usually cause the bad odor. This is why you can be totally relaxed while being in public and put one foot ahead of the other in a more confident manner.
It's important to understand that every human body is not the same. Some bodies tend to produce a lot of sweat which in turn, leads to bacteria presence.

Time to Toss That Deo Stick Away
No doubt, the application of deodorant has become a standard hygiene practice in modern times. But by the looks of it, some individuals don't need it at all. There are some rare cases when some people’s bodies don't produce awful odors at all. But according to a study, only 2% of people belong to this category due to a rare gene called ABCC11. Still, as it turns out, they end up using deodorants regardless.
Consequences
If you use a product that is working as advertised, GREAT! But if your body is doing just fine without it, why apply an extra layer of chemicals every day?! This could definitely harm your skin in the long run, which is why people with this special ABCC11 gene don't need to spend their money in order to expose themselves to potentially skin-damaging chemicals. If your body allows for it, it might be advisable to stop investing in such products.

If you belong to this lucky group, go ahead and be yourself on the football field or the beach without breaking a sweat. Be comfortable in your skin and flaunt those rare great genes. If not, well, it’s not like you’re the only ones stuck using a deodorant, right?
